Which measurements describe the inside of a sleeve?
Look for the dimensions of the opening and the channel inside. Some manufacturers call this space the “inner core.” Keep these terms separate as you read a specification:
- Inner diameter: the distance across the center of a circular opening or channel at a stated position.
- Internal width: a measurement across the inside at a stated position and direction. Keep the label “width” when that is what the seller measured, especially for an oval or irregular opening.
- Internal circumference: the distance around the inside at a stated position. It measures a different path from a diameter or width.
- Internal length: the length of the space inside, with a stated starting point and endpoint.
An opening measurement describes that opening. It does not, by itself, show whether the channel narrows or changes shape farther along. If that detail affects your comparison, ask for measurements at the relevant positions.
Length also needs a clear label. A closed-tip sleeve has an internal cavity ending inside the tip; an open-ended sleeve has a channel passing through it. For either design, check which points the listed length connects. Overall product length does not establish the internal space available or the amount of length added when worn.
If the sleeve has a separate base loop, read its measurement separately from the sleeve opening. The two openings describe different parts of the product, even when their numbers happen to match.
How do outer size and wall thickness differ?
External measurements describe the outside of the sleeve: its length, width at a marked position, or circumference around a particular section. Raised texture and a changing outline make the measurement position especially useful. A width across the upper section may differ from one taken near the base.
Penis sleeve wall thickness describes the material between the inner and outer surfaces at a particular location. One thickness value needs a location too. A measurement through a raised ridge does not describe every part of a textured sleeve.
Keep inner and outer figures in separate columns when comparing products. Subtracting a listed inner diameter from an exterior width taken elsewhere does not establish wall thickness. Those numbers may describe different positions, directions, and cross-sectional shapes.

Why does the measurement state matter?
A sleeve measured while resting and unstretched is being described under different conditions from one pulled open by hand or measured while worn. Look for that condition beside the number.
For example, if a specification lists an inner diameter, check whether it refers to the opening at rest and where the measurement was taken. A stretching photograph supplies neither that measurement nor a tested fit range. It shows the shape under the conditions in the photograph.
To choose a penis sleeve size, pair your own measurements with the manufacturer's fitting instructions for that exact model. Follow the measurement method those instructions specify. A reduction percentage or size conversion recommended for another design should not be treated as a rule for every sleeve.
A product example: reading Nyravoss measurements
The recorded specifications for Nyravoss, Kervyra's textured open-ended penis sleeve, show why labels matter. Metric figures below come from Kervyra's seller-measured product record; inch values are rounded conversions.

| Measurement | Approximate inches / measured centimeters | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Total sleeve length | 4.72 in / 12.0 cm | Overall sleeve length; not an internal fit length. |
| Exterior insertable sleeve length | 4.25 in / 10.8 cm | The stated exterior sleeve section; not a claim of added length. |
| Upper-section exterior width, side view | 1.93 in / 4.9 cm | Width at the specified position and view; not an inner diameter. |
| Sleeve inner diameter | 1.18 in / 3.0 cm | The recorded internal measurement for the sleeve opening. |
| Ball-loop inner diameter | 1.18 in / 3.0 cm | A separate measurement for the integrated base loop. |
The two 1.18 in / 3.0 cm figures belong to different openings. The 4.25 in / 10.8 cm figure describes an exterior length, so it cannot answer a question about internal fit length.
These records do not specify a stretched or unstretched measurement state, wall thickness, or a tested fit range. Those details require separate confirmation. Read the full Nyravoss specifications alongside this example: Nyravoss specifications

What should you ask when a measurement is missing?
Ask about the missing label or method before using the number to make a decision. A focused message can be more useful than asking only, “Will this fit?”
“Could you confirm the sleeve's internal opening measurement, where it was measured, and whether it was resting and unstretched? Does the channel change size along its length? Please also clarify what the listed length includes and whether you have fitting guidance for this exact model.”
If wall thickness is part of your comparison, ask where it was measured and whether the figure includes raised texture. When a product diagram and specification table use different labels, have the seller resolve that difference rather than choosing whichever number seems more favorable.
Questions about penis sleeve sizing
Can I compare Small, Medium, and Large across brands?
Use each model's measurements and fitting instructions. A size name alone does not tell you the opening dimensions, internal shape, or measurement state. Compare those details before treating two products with the same size label as equivalent.
Does the same material mean two sleeves will fit the same way?
A shared material name does not establish the same internal dimensions, wall thickness, or construction. Read the specifications and fitting guidance for each product separately.
